The Dissemination Event of the NEST4WB project was held within the framework of the Infoteh 2026 Conference in Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 18 to 20 March 2026, organized by the University of East Sarajevo (UES).
The event included Steering Committee (SC), Project Management Committee (PMC), and Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) meetings, as well as dedicated dissemination workshops and presentations of project results .
The meeting gathered representatives of all partner institutions, with the aim of reviewing project progress, discussing ongoing and upcoming activities, and strengthening dissemination and sustainability of project results.
The event was organized over three days and included:
- Internal project meetings (SC, PMC, QAC)
- Dissemination workshops and presentations
- Project trade fair and networking activities
- Conference paper sessions (not part of detailed discussion in these minutes)
Paper presentation sessions were held during all three days of the conference; however, they are not elaborated in detail, as they were part of the broader conference program.
Day 1 – 18 March 2026
Opening and Welcome Session
The event was officially opened by representative of the host institution Dr. Marko Ikic and Project Coordinator – Dr. Bojan Prlinčević
Participants were welcomed and introduced to the objectives of the meeting and their role within the dissemination and monitoring activities of the project.
Presentation of Project Results and Achievements (Workshop Session)
A comprehensive overview of the project progress and results achieved was presented by the coordinator and partner representatives.
Key highlights included:
- Completion of WP2 (Preparation phase) including:
- Competence catalogue
- Study visits
- Partner network establishment
- Completion of WP3 (Development phase) including:
- Course catalogue
- Laboratory establishment
- Learning materials and manuals
- Ongoing implementation of WP4 (Implementation phase):
- Accreditation and verification of study programs
- Student enrollment
- Preparation for professional practice and Green Week activities
The presentation confirmed that the project is progressing in line with the planned timeline, with the majority of deliverables submitted or under review.
Project Management and Quality Meetings
PMC Meeting major focus was on:
- Review of project progress across all Work Packages
- Discussion on upcoming activities and deadlines
- Coordination of tasks related to WP4 implementation
SC Meeting discussed the following points:
- Strategic overview of project implementation
- Alignment with project objectives and expected impact
- Discussion on future activities and sustainability
QAC Meeting focus was on:
- Presentation of the Draft Annual Quality Report (Year 2)
- Discussion on quality assurance procedures and monitoring results
- Planning of quality activities for the third project year
Dissemination Workshop
The dissemination session focused on:
- Overview of dissemination activities and results achieved so far
- Presentation of communication channels and target groups
- Planning of future dissemination activities (media, events, conferences)
Special emphasis was placed on:
- visibility of project results
- engagement of stakeholders (students, academia, industry)
- promotion of new study programs and digital energy competencies
Project Trade Fair and Networking
A project trade fair was organized, where partners presented:
- project results
- developed study programs
- laboratory equipment and learning materials
This session enabled networking with conference participants and external stakeholders.
Day 2 – 19 March 2026
Workshop – Sustainability and Cooperation (WP6)
A dedicated workshop was held focusing on sustainability and long-term cooperation within the project.
Key topics included:
- Implementation of the Sustainability Plan (D6.1)
- Development of:
- inter-institutional cooperation agreements (D6.2)
- agreements with stakeholders from the economy (D6.3)
- Discussion on:
- establishment of a partner network
- standardization of cooperation agreements
- strengthening collaboration between HEIs and industry
Partners agreed on the need to:
- finalize cooperation agreements
- ensure long-term sustainability of project results
continue networking beyond the project duration.
Day 3 – 20 March 2026
The third day of the event was primarily dedicated to conference paper sessions, which were part of the broader Infoteh conference program and are not elaborated within these minutes. NEST4WB consortium members has published and presented total four scientific papers at the conference.
Key Conclusions
- The project has made significant progress, particularly in WP2 and WP3.
- Implementation of WP4 activities is ongoing, with focus on curriculum delivery and student engagement.
- Quality assurance procedures are functioning effectively, as confirmed during the QAC meeting.
- Dissemination activities are well developed, with strong visibility at the conference level.
- Sustainability and cooperation mechanisms (WP6) are progressing and require finalization in the upcoming period.
Future Action Points
- Finalization of pending deliverables (WP3, WP4, WP7).
- Completion of cooperation agreements (D6.2, D6.3).
- Organization of Green Week events and student professional practice (WP4).
- Continued implementation of dissemination activities and promotional campaigns.
- Preparation of final versions of quality and dissemination reports.
Closing
The Dissemination Event successfully contributed to:
- strengthening collaboration among project partners,
- increasing visibility of project results,
- aligning ongoing and future project activities.
The meeting confirmed that the NEST4WB project is progressing in accordance with its objectives and is well positioned for the next phase of implementation.
