National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, located at Euripus Campus in Psachna, Greece, hosted the second NEST4WB study visit, from 9th to 11th of October. It was an opportunity for the members of the consortium to present the new competencies to be adopted in the frameworks of the new/innovated study programs, exchange experiences and good practices, as well as to make plans for the upcoming period under the guidance of the coordinator. The host institution organized a series of interesting and useful trainings as part of this event.
The meeting started with the welcome speeches and presentation of the host institution – NKUA, by prof. Christos Manasis and prof. Ioannis Koutsoubis, followed by the report on equipment procurement status under the WP3, presented by prof. Ioannis Konstantaras.
Morning session has been concluded by laboratories and equipment presentation. Following guided tours throw-out the Campus have been organized:
- Guided tour to Electrical Machines and Drives Laboratory,
- Guided tour to High Voltages Laboratory
- Guided tour to Industrial Automation Laboratory
The afternoon program included a Catalogue of competences – the deliverable presentation, by prof. Rene Prenc. Under this session members of consortium discussed and analyzed the document prepared by the WP2 leader. Afterwards, discussions and conclusions of the first day has been drawn by coordinator, prof. Bojan Prlincevic.
The activities of the second project day began with the regular PMC, SC and QAC meetings. The PMC meeting focused on project achievements and results during the first nine months of the project. At the meeting, the PMC agreed to adopt the catalogue of competencies. Tasks for the next period has been assigned.
The SC analysed different activities related to project, while QAC meetings focused on improving the quality of project activities and evaluating results (reports, events, promotional materials).
Afterwards, the session continued with presentations of the content of the new/innovated study programs in WB countries, and with those presentations the second day has been concluded.
The third day was dedicated to different sessions regarding the forthcoming project activities:
- Defining the framework for formation of a partnership network for knowledge and experience exchange in the field of energy, green energy and ICT
- Defining the framework for questioners and survey conducting of WBC’s awareness of the rational use of energy , both led by the WP2 leader UNIRI-RITEH representative, prof. Rene Prenc, and
- Preparation activities for accreditation and implementation of the study programs, led by the WP4 leaders AATPS representative, prof. Aleksandra Boricic.
Special presentation was prepared on the topic of Digital strategy for dissemination of good practice examples, presented by prof. Slavimir Stosovic from AATPS.
The final session of the last day of the study visit was dedicated to the professional internship programs, that started by presentation prepared by the host institution NKUA and presented by prof. Maria Koukou.
The sessions has been continued with the regional overview of professional internship programs, which were the last sessions as it was planned.
