The NEST4WB consortium successfully organized its Third Dissemination Event within the framework of the 49th ICT and Electronics Convention MIPRO 2026, held in Opatija, Croatia. As the final dissemination conference planned within the project, the event provided an opportunity to showcase key achievements, review the progress of ongoing activities, and discuss the final steps required for successful project completion and long-term sustainability of project results.

The NEST4WB Dissemination Event was held on 26 May. The event gathered representatives of consortium partner institutions to review project achievements, discuss ongoing activities, and present the progress achieved across all work packages during the third year of project implementation.
The meeting was opened by Prof. Dr. Rene Prenc from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, followed by welcome remarks from Prof. Dr. Bojan Prlinčević, NEST4WB Project Coordinator. Participants were introduced to the agenda and objectives of the event.
During the dissemination session, the consortium reviewed the overall implementation status of the project. It was reported that Work Packages 2 and 3 had been successfully completed, resulting in the development of the regional competence framework, modernization of curricula, establishment of laboratories and training centres, preparation of learning materials, and creation of procedures supporting practical and industry-oriented education.
Special attention was devoted to the progress achieved within Work Package 4. Consortium members presented the implementation of accredited study programmes, student enrolment activities, Green Week events organized across the Western Balkans, and ongoing preparations for student professional practice placements at partner institutions.
Participants also discussed activities related to sustainability and dissemination. Updates were presented regarding cooperation agreements among higher education institutions and external stakeholders, including industry representatives, local authorities, and NGOs. The consortium reviewed dissemination activities carried out through project websites, social media channels, Info Days, Green Week events, and participation in scientific conferences.
The e-learning platform developed within the project was highlighted as one of the key project achievements. Partners exchanged experiences regarding its promotion and utilization for supporting digital and green competences in energy education.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of upcoming project activities and deadlines, particularly those related to student professional practice, completion of cooperation agreements, final dissemination activities, quality monitoring, and preparation of remaining deliverables.
The Dissemination Event provided an important opportunity to present project achievements to the wider academic and professional community gathered at MIPRO 2026, while also strengthening cooperation among consortium members and supporting the visibility and sustainability of project results.
