As part of the Erasmus+ NEST4WB project, Luarasi University successfully organized Green Week 2026 from 20 to 24 April 2026, bringing together representatives of academia, industry, secondary schools, and students through a series of educational and awareness-raising activities dedicated to digitalization, sustainable energy, and the green transition.
During the five-day program, activities engaged the business community, academic staff, high school students, members of the Student Club for European Integration, and undergraduate students, promoting the importance of energy efficiency, renewable energy, smart technologies, and digital competencies for the future of the energy sector.
Participants explored key objectives of the NEST4WB project, including curriculum modernization, laboratory development, and the integration of topics such as smart grids, energy data management, cybersecurity, and project management into higher education. Special attention was also given to strengthening cooperation between universities and industry, encouraging student engagement, and raising awareness of the European Green Deal and sustainable development.
The event gathered a total of 70 participants, providing an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and dissemination of project results. Through Green Week 2026, Luarasi University further strengthened its commitment to promoting innovation, sustainability, and modern education in line with the objectives of the NEST4WB project.
