Mr. Silvana Verdiani, Project Adviser of EACEA, actively involved in the support and monitoring of EC-financed projects, especially within the framework of the Erasmus+ initiative for capacity building in higher education, visited AASKM, Zvecan department, in the framework of the field monitoring visit organized on November 20th, 2025.
On that occasion, she stated that she was convinced of the very good use of the funds given to higher education institutions as well as the human capital that works on them.
Dr. Bojan Prlincevic, coordinator of project NEST4WB, notes that the goal of the project officer from Brussels was to make sure that the Academy implements Erasmus+ projects in accordance with EU regulations. Especially, we pointed out that for the first time in ten years, an official from Brussels came and visited the Academy and its departments being convinced of their work and functionality.
The head of the department, Prof. Uros Jaksic, stated that EU project funds are extremely important for the work of the Zvecan department, and that thanks to them, four new laboratories, two computer labs, and one each for power engineering and fire protection, have been equipped.
